Winners of this award will receive an annual HK$10,000 scholarship* and enjoy customized access to​

  • Small-group discussions with faculty and tailored mentoring,

  • Faculty Global Exploration Fund up to HK$30,000,

  • Study abroad opportunities—student exchange & overseas programmes in world-class universities, and

  • HKU Arts Internship opportunities & career preparation workshops.

*Pending review and confirmation on an annual basis of each winner's academic progress in the GLAS programme.

We invite both nominations of students by secondary school principals or self-nominations by students for this award.

For applicants using HKDSE results, a total score of 28 or above based on the HKU Scoring System.#

For applicants using IB scores, a minimum of 30.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview at the University of Hong Kong.
